Ghana’s Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has praised gospel musician Joe Mettle for his contribution to Ghana’s creative industry following her official visit to his newly launched creative arts studio.

The Minister described the facility as a model for innovation and growth, saying it reflects the kind of private investment and creativity the Ministry hopes to see across the sector.
Joe Mettle’s studio serves as a multifunctional hub for music, film, and cultural productions. The space includes facilities for recording, live performances, talk shows, and visual content creation. Designed to host between 200 and 300 people, the complex aims to provide a collaborative environment for Ghanaian creatives.

During the tour, the Minister commended Joe Mettle for investing in infrastructure that empowers artists and strengthens Ghana’s creative economy. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting creative entrepreneurs and encouraging public-private partnerships to advance the arts sector.

The visit, attended by key officials from the Ministry, highlighted the growing recognition of private sector contributions in positioning Ghana as a hub for cultural innovation and entertainment in Africa.
