The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has extended support to traders who lost their shops and properties in the recent fire outbreak at the Sampa Market on September 9, 2025.

In a gesture aimed at restoring hope and helping victims rebuild their livelihoods, the Chief Executive Officer of NEIP, Eric Adjei, presented financial assistance of GHC 5,000 each to about 20 affected traders, totaling GHC 100,000.

Mr. Adjei noted that the intervention is part of NEIP’s commitment to ensuring entrepreneurs and small business operators receive the needed support to recover from unexpected setbacks that threaten their businesses.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, he expressed his sympathy to the victims and assured them of continuous support, adding that entrepreneurship remains a key driver of national development.

The beneficiaries, on their part, expressed gratitude to Mr. Adjei for the timely intervention, describing it as a major relief during this difficult period.

This support underscores NEIP’s compassion and its strong commitment to the growth and sustainability of businesses within the Jaman North District and across the country.
