President Mahama swears in last batch of Deputy Ministers

President Mahama on Thursday, July 31, 2025, swore in the last batch of deputy ministers of state, per Article 78(1) of the 1992 Constitution.

This follows their approval by Parliament after a thorough vetting process. The four deputy Ministers are all sitting Members of Parliament.

The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Jubilee House, marked the official start of their roles in critical government positions.

The newly sworn-in deputy Ministers are: Dorcas Affo-Toffey, MP for Jomoro, Deputy Minister for Transport, James Gyakye Quayson as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Adam Sukparu as Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, and Dr Grace Ayensu-Danquah as Deputy Minister of Health.
