Engineering firm OilDynamics has confirmed its participation as an Associate Sponsor at the upcoming African Mining Week (AMW) 2025, Africa’s premier gathering of mining and energy stakeholders.
Scheduled for October 1–3 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), the event will bring together government officials, investors, industry executives, and technology experts to explore investment opportunities, technological innovation, and sustainable growth across Africa’s extractive sectors.
The conference is themed “From Extraction to Beneficiation: Unlocking Africa’s Mineral Wealth,” reflecting a broader continental push to move beyond raw material supply toward local processing, value addition, and industrialization.
Over three days, AMW 2025 will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, project showcases, investor networking sessions, and deal-making forums, providing a platform for more than 2,000 delegates from over 50 countries, representing over 300 companies, to connect and forge strategic partnerships.

A highlight of the program is the Women in Leadership Forum, designed to bring together female leaders from mining, energy, and finance sectors. The forum aims to promote gender inclusion, foster mentorship, and link women-led initiatives with global investors and strategic partners, underscoring AMW’s commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable industry.
The broader program also emphasizes sustainable mining practices, technological innovation, and solutions that support Africa’s growing industrial and energy needs, linking extractive industries with wider economic development goals.

OilDynamics, which specializes in pumping and artificial lift systems for oil, gas, and geothermal applications, is leveraging its participation at AMW to expand its footprint in North Africa, including projects in Tunisia and Libya, while maintaining ongoing operations with Algeria’s national oil company, Sonatrach.
Company representatives will participate in panel discussions and networking forums, showcasing how their technologies contribute to more efficient extraction processes and stronger energy infrastructure, which in turn supports mining growth and industrial development across the region.

The conference is co-located with the African Energy Week: Invest in African Energies 2025, offering delegates an integrated platform to explore the synergies between mining and energy sectors.
Organizers say the joint event is designed to accelerate Africa’s transition from raw resource extraction to value-added mineral processing, facilitate investment flows, and foster collaborations that drive sustainable and inclusive growth.
With its extensive program and strategic networking opportunities, AMW 2025 provides a comprehensive stage for companies like OilDynamics to showcase their capabilities, engage with key stakeholders, and play a role in shaping the future of Africa’s mining and energy sectors.
