The wife of the late Defence Minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, Mrs Rita Omane Boamah, shared an emotional recollection of their love story, revealing the romantic nickname she had for him, “Kofi B.”
“Kofi B, as I affectionately called you, we were destined to be together,” she said, her voice heavy with emotion.
She recounted how fate first brought them together, not in a planned meeting, but on an ordinary day when she boarded the medical school bus, despite not being a medical student herself.
“Though I was not a medical student, fate brought us together on that fateful day, when I boarded the medical school bus.”
That chance encounter, she noted, was the beginning of a lifelong bond built on love, respect, and shared dreams.
