GodsNation advises young people against money rituals

Ghanaian gospel musician GodsNation has cautioned the youth against the dangers of engaging in get-rich-quick movements.

In a conversation with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, GodsNation highlighted the need to address the increasing trend of young people seeking overnight riches and engaging in risky behaviors, as there are even crazier stories out there.

However, when asked what advice he would give to those caught up in such activities, GodsNation shared a powerful lesson from the Bible.

“The Bible says there’s a way that seems right in the sight of a man, but then the end thereof is death. It gives you temporary comfort for everlasting torture. And you’ve got to be careful of that,” he warned.

He continued by sharing his personal experience, reflecting on how a seemingly innocent influence from a friend led to a dangerous addiction.

“All these things that I’m saying started from an influence from a friend. You know, I remember starting masturbation. A chronic masturbator. And it was because a friend said, ‘Watch this porn,’ and I did, and then it became something else,” GodsNation explained.

The gospel musician then offered an important piece of advice for the youth.

“So you have to be very careful of the kind of people that you give your ears to, the kind of friends you keep around. You have to be very careful,” he concluded.

GodsNation’s reflections serve as a timely reminder of the power of influence and the importance of choosing the right path, urging everyone to make discerning choices to avoid falling into destructive cycles.
