Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has been appointed to head CAF’s Organizing Committee for Inter-Club Competitions and Management of the Club Licensing System.
Kurt has been given the task of steering the “strategic direction of CAF’s premier inter-club competitions” – Champions League and the Confederation Cup.
He will also superintend over the “ongoing development of the Club Licensing System across the continent” to ensure compliance with globally accepted standards.
Kurt has already joined Faouzi Lekjaa, who will serve as the First Vice President, replacing Senegal FA President Augustine Senghor, while the Ghanaian took over from Ahmed Yahya.
His elevation was confirmed on Saturday, April 26, 2025, by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe during a press conference in Accra.
