The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research – Crops Research Institute (CSIR-CRI), in collaboration with the Agroecology and Circular Economy for Ecosystem Services in Sub-Saharan Africa (ACE4ES) Africa Consortium, is pleased to invite stakeholders, policymakers, development partners, farmer organizations, researchers, private sector actors, and the media to its Open Day 2025 and the official commissioning of the Multicultural Technology Park (MTP).

The event according to a release copied News Ghana on 1st July,2025, seeks to offers a unique opportunity to witness groundbreaking solutions that transform agriculture, promote environmental sustainability, and strengthen community resilience across Africa.

Highlights of the Event
Commissioning of the ACE4ES Multicultural Technology Park (MTP) – a regional hub for low-emission agriculture, agroecology innovations, and circular economy solutions.

Launch of the Regional Policy Guide on Agroecology and Circular Economy in West Africa, providing a roadmap for sustainable food systems and ecosystem restoration.

Launch of the MRV Framework for Agriculture-Sector Emissions Reduction, supporting Ghana’s and West Africa’s climate commitments under the NDCs and Article 6 mechanisms.

Exhibitions & Demonstrations:
* Climate-smart crop and livestock technologies
* Livestock-crop integration systems
* Advanced composting and biochar production
* Black carbon, methane, nitrous oxide monitoring and trace gas measurement technologies.
