Only Cedi is legal tender in Ghana, Dollar use in local transactions illegal – BoG Governor

Bank of Ghana Governor Dr. Johnson Asiama has warned that the US dollar is not legal tender in Ghana. He urges businesses and consumers to transact exclusively in cedis to support economic stability.
